The moment we heard that Samsung was throwing a "Galaxy Unpacked" event at Mobile World Congress, we knew it had to be launching the Galaxy S6. And, according to the many leaks that are already circulating on the internet, we're probably right. Still, it's always worth attending the actual event itself -- Samsung's been known to offer up a surprise or two and besides, the company sometimes puts up quite an entertaining show. So join us, won't you, for our liveblog starting right here at 12:30pm ET.

The One M9 is, perhaps, HTC's worst kept secret of 2015. But maybe, just maybe, the Taiwanese company could surprise us all at its Mobile World Congress press conference -- after all, HTC is known for trying new things every now and then. Whatever happens, though, we're here in Barcelona to bring you the play-by-play from the company's event. So stay tuned to this post; we'll be flipping into liveblog mode at 10:00 AM ET.

On Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 5 PM ET (2 PM PT), be sure to join us for our traditional liveblog of the Apple Earnings Call. This quarter's call will be quite fascinating, as we should hear about record iPhone sales thanks to the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, increasing market share for the Mac family, how Apple Pay is progressing (and contributing to Apple's bottom line) and more. Who knows? Maybe we'll even get an idea of when the Apple Watch will ship! You can listen to the call live through QuickTime streaming, and we'll be providing commentary and analysis as the call progresses. The link for the liveblog is here; please note that we won't be starting the actual event until about 4:50 PM ET, about 10 minutes before Apple goes live.

Howdy, folks, and greetings from scenic Redmond, Washington, where Microsoft is about to give us a lot more information about its next-gen OS, Windows 10. Sure, we may have already gotten a peak at the new and improved Start Menu, but there are still so many unanswered questions. What will it be like to use Cortana from the desktop? How will those "universal" apps look across different devices? And where does Xbox fit in, exactly? Follow our liveblog starting at 9AM PT / 12PM ET, where we'll be reporting all the news, as it breaks. And who knows, maybe you'll even get to download a preview for yourself once it's all over. Only one way to find out, though: stay tuned! January 21, 2015 12:00:00 PM EST

CES hasn't even officially started yet and Samsung has already come out guns blazing with announcements that include high-end nanocrystal TVs, curved monitors and, uh, washing machines with built-in sinks. But the Korean company isn't quite done yet. Boo-Keun Yoon, Samsung's President and CEO of consumer electronics, is set to give the opening keynote here at CES 2015, and we're expecting to hear some updates about the firm's foray into the Internet of Things. Specifically, we're hoping to hear more about its acquisition of home automation startup SmartThings and whether that'll be integrated into its plans for the connected home. Join us right here on this page at 9:30 pm ET / 6:30 pm PT for our liveblog of the keynote to find out! [Image credit: Getty Images]

CES. It's a massive playground full of electronics, and no one has a presence larger than Samsung. The manufacturer makes gadgets from appliances to cellphones to speakers, and of course increasingly massive HDTVs. It also tends to take an ...odd approach to these kinds of presentations, leading to surprises like Michael Bay's sudden exit last year. Who knows what we'll see in 2015, but come along for the ride right here when the event starts at 5PM ET. Update: It's all over, but you can relive the event after the break.

If you wanted to sit down and watch the opening panel for BlizzCon 2014, you could without any need for a virtual ticket. If you wanted to watch the Overwatch panel announced shortly after they announced Overwatch itself... well, you can't do that. But if you have the ticket, you can, and you can always just catch up as I blog information about the game down in the comments. As before, important information will be revealed past the break as I post things. So, is Overwatch the redone version of Titan? (Almost certainly.) Is it more than just Blizzard's version of Team Fortress 2? (Um.) Find out down there in the comments and find the collected information past the break! BlizzCon returns to Anaheim during the weekend of November 7th and 8th, 2014! Whether you're anticipating World of Warcraft's Warlords of Draenor expansion or the latest news from Diablo III, Hearthstone, and Heroes of the Storm, we aim to have it covered!

Dear readers, I am going to be wholly honest with you. When I was asked if I could do this liveblog for BlizzCon, I thought I was being asked if I was capable. Like asking "can you ride your bike with no handlebars" or "can you sing to a cat until it leaves the room in disgust." But here I am now, so apparently the question was significantly less rhetorical than I had originally assumed and now I need to actually do this. You can watch the standard definition feed of the convention's opening ceremonies on the official site for free. I'll be liveblogging the important announcements in the comments if you're in a place where you can't watch along (at work, misplaced your headphones, hiding in an Amish barn and fearing discovery should your phone give away even the slightest beep); highlights will be collected past the break. There will probably be announcements about Blizzard games! Like World of Warcraft and Hearthstone and maybe, if it's very lucky, StarCraft II.

OK, folks, who's ready for new iPads? Apple's just about to begin its big keynote, and we're pretty sure we're going to see some fresh tablets. Maybe iMacs too, and a final version of OS X Yosemite to go with them. But who needs speculation at this point? Follow along as we report live from Apple's press event in Cupertino. Then, when we're done with that, you might want to stick around even longer: There's a chance we'll be getting hands-on with all the new stuff.

September is a month synonymous with the beginning of autumn, but it's also become associated with something else entirely: The iPhone. Today, we're in attendance at the Flint Center in Cupertino to hear about the latest products and updates from Apple, and we're expecting at least four new devices (two iPhones and two wearables). Join us at this space beginning at 1pm ET on September 9th, because we'll be liveblogging the event and bringing you the latest updates as it happens. Should be a long and intense event, so make sure you bookmark this page and come back for it all! September 9, 2014 1:00:00 PM EDT

Last year was a banner year for iPhone and iOS, in that Apple broke from its traditional mold: It unveiled not one but two new iPhone models, running a revamped version of its mobile operating system. It was a significant change from the norm, but it's small compared to what we're going to see this year. Yes, we're predicting the same number of new iPhones, but both of them will depart from the 5 and 5s design, and are much bigger than what we're used to -- they'll have 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch screens, compared to the usual 4-inch. But there are also a lot of credible rumors that claim we'll get the first glimpses at a set of new wearables that will come out either later this year or sometime early next year (more likely the latter, from what we've heard). Regardless of what rumor excites you the most, don't forget to bookmark our liveblog because that's where all of the action is going to be taking place tomorrow, starting at 1pm ET. See you there! Tomorrow's going to be, in the words of Star Trek's Mr. Spock, "fascinating". Nobody really has any idea what Tim Cook and friends are going to announce, although we're pretty sure that something that looks, feels and works like an iPhone should be given top billing. And then there's that building next to the Flint Center for the Performing Arts on the campus of De Anza College in Cupertino, draped in white -- what's that all about? The reveal is scheduled for tomorrow, and although TUAW won't be on the scene, we'll be covering the story in our usual professional and fun manner with a liveblog -- sponsored this year by Verizon. Erica Sadun and I will be taking the helm for the liveblog, and those who are joining in can send us questions and comments via Twitter hashtag #tuawliveblog. We will be firing up the mighty liveblog engine at 12:45 PM EDT (9:45 PDT), so be sure to bookmark our liveblog page so you can pop right in. Join us for what should prove to be an incredible event, and we look forward to your questions and comments.

If you do see this message, however, it just means that we haven't been able to get settled into our seats quite yet, but are busily working toward achieving that goal.
