Blessed be this day, for soon we may never have to type out "Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix" again. Optimistically, it's just this PSN post, maybe one tomorrow about the Xbox 360 version on XBLA, and hopefully one more after that when Capcom finally announces the PSN European release. What certainly should not be overlooked in today's update is the PSN price promotion that offers excellent titles like PixelJunk Eden and echochrome at a measly $5 -- for a limited time! The full North American update can be hadoukened after the break.

Age of Booty, Capcom's plundering pirates RTS/board game, docks on the PS3 this week as part of the weekly update. Besides that, it's relatively quiet, with some DLC for LittleBigPlanet and Need for Speed: Undercover washing up on the PSN shore. Our treasure map indicates the full North American update is listed after the break.PS3 Fanboy has the European PSN update, which lacks Booty, but still has plenty of junk in the trunk.

    11.10.2008

Following an unexpected delay in mid October, Capcom recently announced that the very enjoyable Age of Booty will plunder the PSN starting Nov. 13. The publisher hopes that Europe and Asia will get it on the same day, but the cabin boy with that confirmation apparently got lost on shore leave (something about a Monkey Island).Despite the middling reviews, the $10 title certainly delivers a quality online experience for those who feel there isn't enough real-time strategy in their board games.

    11.06.2008

This week's PSN update brings us a new Qore, which travels to Tokyo for its latest episode. Also, as promised, LittleBigPlanet owners can grab themselves two free outfits (pictured above). Enjoy the free stuff while it lasts, the nickel and dime LBP strategy starts soon. What else? Oh yeah, so, there's this game called Metal Gear Solid 4. No, no, there's no DLC ... but a demo for it is available now. Apparently that little demo was so stealthy, it took almost five months to find the thing. The full North American update is listed after the break.PS3 Fanboy informs us the European PSN update wins this week, check it out on their site. Apparently we're supposed to keep a tally on who wins from now on.

It's time to finally take Mirror's Edge for a test run. The demo is available now on PSN and will make its way onto the XBM tomorrow. Our brief hands-on time with Faith back at E3 showed us the game's concept worked, but now it's time to really put the title through its paces. The PSN also adds the EndWar demo, which is also certainly worth checking out. The full North American update is listed after the break.PS3 Fanboy has the details on this week's European PSN update, which includes the EndWar demo. We wonder if the game's surprisingly responsive voice commands are still top notch with a cracking Welsh accent?

This week's PSN update continues the trend of quality downloadable content going with the addition of The Last Guy and Warhawk's Fallen Star expansion. The Last Guy mashes up the eventual Zombie Apocalypse (it's coming) and Snake into a hectic old-school arcade-style action game. 08.14.2008

This week's PSN update is just overflowing with machismo. We've got Bionic Commando Rearmed grappling against Hitler Master-D and the world warriors battling it out in Street Fighter Alpha. Just a note of warning, SFA does not support online play -- come to think of it, neither does Bionic Commando Rearmed. It's all old-school offline gaming up in this joint. There's plenty of new videos to check out this week and we're looking forward to seeing what this BioShock PS3 theme looks like. The grimps over at PS3 Fanboy have this week's European update hanging from a thread of silk over in their garden. Check out this week's NA PSN update after the break.

Got a significant other who isn't into gaming? How about someone you're dating who just doesn't "get" the bleeps and bloops coming from the TV screen? Looking for a game to play with your kid? Well, might we suggest playing PixelJunk Eden with them, which is available now on PSN for $10? The hard-to-describe, casual-friendly title is challenging, but it's a game best experienced with a companion. Also check out the demo for FaceBreaker, along with some add-on content for Soul Calibur IV. 07.24.2008

i It's a big week for the PSN update, with a nice sale going on, Parappa the Rapper available as a downloadable PS1 Classic and the addition of a PSN original, Siren: Blood Curse. Let's start with the PS3's first survival horror game, Siren: Blood Curse, which has one of the most unique cost models we've ever seen. The television show game comes in 12 episodes that players can download in four-episode packs at $15, or just buy in its entirety for $40. We've yet to actually play the game, so we can't make a recommendation, but there's also a demo available, which is certainly worth trying first. The full game fills up a whopping 9 gigglebytes on the PS3's hard drive.Select PSN games are available for $5 this week only, including: PixelJunk Monsters, PAIN and Rocketmen. Don't forget to download the PixelJunk Eden demo! There's plenty of other stuff too, check it all out after the break. The European PSN update can be found over at PS3 Fanboy. Tragically, our European writer has been watching the Big Brother house non-stop, so he can't give us a report on Siren either.
