2020 iPhones may take design cues from the iPhone 4

The iPhone 11, which was revealed earlier this month, bears more than a passing resemblance to both the iPhone X and iPhone XS. That's a bit of a bummer, since we'll have been stuck with roughly the same design for three years (not to mention that the notch is still there). Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, however, says that the design will be replaced with something closer to that of the iPhone 4 for the 2020 lineup of phones.

Apple's high-end wireless earbuds may not ship with iPhone 7

The long-rumoured death of the iPhone's headphone jack has left everybody wondering: What's going to become of Apple's EarPods? Well, they'll probably go wireless, but according to one analyst, they won't come with your iPhone. They'll be sold separately -- and they might be expensive. KGI Securities' Ming-Chi Kuo believes that Apple will announce a pair of high-end "AirPod" earbuds tomorrow as a premium accessory for iPhone 7 buyers. They won't come in the box like Apple's current earbuds, he says, and may not even use Bluetooth.

Comic news: Fyreuni announced that "Daily Quests is on hold while I work on Emergency Kindergarten Lesson 2!" I am definitely a little disappointed, but I think the project will be worth it. Tokkar was also kind enough to point out that Shawn Tommelleo of Coffin Comics has a new project called What's Shakin' that Tommelleo (aka Coffinshaker) described as not set in "WoWland," but it does feature the same characters. Sorry I missed it; the end of August and beginning of September were very hectic! To answer tr_rrr, Cru the Dwarf and other comics that do not update very often will not necessarily show up on the list as soon as they update, because I don't have the time to check every comic that ever posts something WoW-related each week. I rely on tips and comments and my own whims to learn about them. This is also why Kuo was only added again last week, for example. Thanks for tipping me off that it has updated, though!

Comic news: Kelly Aarons of WoW, eh? drew a comic about her time at PAX 2010, and Silkspinner of Complex Actions drew a blog post/comic about her experience as a canary. Glad you're okay, Silk! Guilded Age has started its 7th chapter, and we even have a bonus comic this week from Working Daze. New to the list: Blood and Thunder! Let's start with the first one, and next week I'll begin posting the latest. Kuo: I'm Just Here to Dance! SMF used to feature Kuo, before it went on a hiatus. Thanks for the tip that it is posting again, Coffinshaker! Also check out Keen. Check out Arena-Inside, from the beginning. Comics: Out of World: Dead in the Wall. Coffin Comics: Meet Me Half Way. Teh Gladiators: The Mysterious Monolith. (part 1 of 2) Beyond the Tree: To the victor.... Slash AFK: Angry Typing. Also, Oh Those Wo-Hos and Home Girl, Vroom. It's only October, and yet the cold and flu season has arrived. I'm fighting mine off with the usual prescription; soup, tea and tissues, some raiding, and of course, the Funnies. Daily Quests: Dressed for the Occasion and Look! It's a Bird!. Battlemasters: Blast from the Past. I love how much supplementary material is given with this comic. Ctrl+Alt+Del: The Nine Circles of MMO Hell. Ctrl+Alt+Del: More sillies. This one is sans Fail-Druid. This one contains Fail-Druid! Dark Legacy Comics: The Frame. LFG: Have you been awaiting what happens after the kiss? There's also a small matter that's probably just a dead bird or something. Teh Gladiators. NPC: Dreamy. Someone's got a crush! NPC: Stupid Game and On Your Side. I see a Zhevra incoming! Kuo: Smashed. World of Warcraft, eh? won its first Monthly Blizzard Comic Contest! Congrats Cadistra! NoObz: Covert Ops. This one is win! That person is awesome. This is me trying to comment without giving it all away. Beyond the Tree: Sentinel of the Hill. Noobs: Another Option. Oh my!

This week, I have a treat for you; a nice, long list of comics, with some of my brilliant commentary. Well, you'll have fun with the comics anyway! Daily Quests: From the people who brought you Emergency Kindergarten! The Battlemasters: The Bang and the Clatter. Don't forget to read the accompanying notes. I, too, am enjoying the use of spell icons to tell the story. To the WoW community, they are interchangeable with text descriptions, and I'm sure if we could type using them, we would. I also love the fact that it's an "inside" means of communication. Ctrl+Alt+Del: Bringin' the Deeps. That mountain of gold is awesome. Ctrl+Alt+Del: Fail Druid strikes again! Thanks for the tips guys. How quickly can you spot the fail that doesn't get pointed out (directly) in the comic? Scroll back for a few more while you're there. Dark Legacy Comics: The Collaboration. In the latest LFG, there's some scantily clad kissing action. If that doesn't get you to click, I don't know what will. Teh Gladiators: Tyrande, My Love! More after the break!

Today is the beginning of Brewfest, and with it comes the opportunity to finally get your Violet Proto-Drake. Before you jump into the festivities, why not read through the latest batch of WoW-related web comics? Dark Legacy Comics: Everyone Loves Marmalade. Check out the latest from LFG. Teh Gladiators: Mayhem's the Word. The Scout Report: Scout is getting hit on in Ironforge. In fact, she's getting hounded. Noobs: Needy. Beyond the Tree: Reap What You Sow. NPC: Futility. NPC: End Game. I think after retirement, the trick will be to just not have any more birthdays! NPC: What's your DPS? Check out the latest from Kuo. World of Warcraft, eh: Good Intentions. Cru the Dwarf: and How to Swing it. NoObz: Hard at Work.

Welcome to another Sunday Morning Funnies, er, Shortlist Edition. It may not be as long, but the love is still there. As always, post your tips and links in the comments section, and try not to cry. Your other favorite web comics will update soon! Dark Legacy Comics: Imprisonment. Check out the latest from LFG. Teh Gladiators: "Too Soon, You Have Awakened Me Too Soon!" The Scout Report #77. There's irony in Ironforge, so watch out! Noobs: Ninja Looters. Beyond the Tree: A Bridge Too West. NPC: Side of Quinoa. NPC: Mohawked. I love the cats' expressions in the last panel! I chose not to use any of the artwork for the main image even though it relates to the title because I didn't want to ruin the fun. Experience Points: Always Read the Bottle. This is a good lesson all around kids. The latest Kuo.

This week's list has quite a few new listings, with one that I am particularly excited about. Without further ado: Noobs has posted part two of Gold Issues. On Scout Report, we find out the word that is actually worse than "kittens." While the ensuing squabble become unintelligible, we do learn a bit about their mother. Cru: Holy Brown-Nosing. Dark Legacy Comics: Bill #307A. I know they come right out and say it, but I still think that ending is lame. Experience Points: Vincent has a nightmare. Vincent packs for BlizzCon. His costume plans are not going so well, however. LFG proves that you should stay in school to be awesome. NPC: Driving. I love his facial expression in that one. I've also never seen anyone this excited about doing Dailies. NPC: Sorry. Well I suppose it kind of was her fault. Check out the latest from Teh Gladiators. GU Comics: Given the Choice. GU Comics: My Frustration. Patches are a cruel mistress, my friend. NoObz: Profiling. The Adventures of Disgraph T. Dwarf: The Instance Portal Shuffle. Oh my! Check out the latest from Kuo. Beyond the Tree: All Going South. The Battlemasters: Into the Fray. This is the first entry from a new comic that I'm really loving. The artwork is awesome, and the coloring, especially on the bear in the second entry, The Oil Refinery, blows me away. Read below it to learn about the contest for a custom forum signature! To learn more about the duo behind it (including our very own Zach Yonzon!), check out their About page. I decided to link you to a rather NSFW selection of comics this week, ala Supermegatopia, By Way of Booty Bay. I don't think that they go in any particular order, but it's a good page to bookmark and visit when you have some time. Here's another comic, new to the list but certainly not particularly far in, Nitropie. I'll have more to say about it next week when I can figure out how to make my browser navigate it properly.

Once again, I have a new comic to list! Keep the tips coming. Somewhere in the list today is the secret identity of last week's "mystery" picture! Check out Noobs, a new comic, and one that is not to be confused with NoObz, which isn't WoW-related this week. Scout Report: We finally find out why Scout's sister is hanging around! This of course leads to a rather strange conversation, about kittens (of a sort). Cru the Dwarf: Bless This Thy Holy Boot. Well, they've reached the Scarlet Monastery. The message at the bottom says it all! Dark Legacy Comics: Gretta's Plan. Experience Points: Vincent is planning his trip to BlizzCon with his new pal, Steve. Experience Points: Vincent hangs out with Steve on patch day. I am kind of afraid of his sandwich. LFG: Meet the Mistress of Magma. NPC: Overcome. NPC: A break seems to be in the couple's future, but Smelly Demographics shows the flaw in the first activity suggested. So, they decide to take a different sort of trip, because they've had Too Much WoW. Check out the latest from Teh Gladiators. Kuo: This guest comic is awesomely cute, and in translation. For regular comics, evidently, Sylvanas just wasn't as cool before she died. Beyond the Tree: No purse, no pursuit. WoW-eh: The Mis-Adventures of....

Today, not only do we have a reader submission and a few unexpected updates, a long-dormant but awesome comic has awoken. The Scout Report has updated! Looks like last week's whining was but a moment too soon. Hurray! Cru the Dwarf: Slobberchops. Dark Legacy Comics: Marmalade. Experience Points: Vincent continues on his journey, and finally gets to meet the person who sent the iPhone message. Check out the latest from LFG. NoObz: World of Stars. NPC: Binge. This is exactly how most days start for me too! NPC: Break. Note: Looking at your Twitter feed, that's hilarious that your Mom said mats! I love it. Teh Gladiators. The Adventures of Disgraph T. Dwarf: I Blame Blizzard. I totally know this feeling. By now, I should have at least two Azure Whelpling pets, but no. Reader submission from themightysven: Nobody Scores. Warcraft the Dark Spider Wrath Thing from Kuo. Beyond the Tree: It's all green. WoW eh: I Always Feel Like Somebody's Watching Me.

It's a thrifty list this week, but with three from NPC and a newbie to the list, you should still have a fair amount to read. Disgraph is set to start updating again, Cru is on a break, and Kuo is being delayed due to studies. Flintlocke vs. the Horde has officially ended, Shakes and Fidget was shut down awhile ago, and I'm missing my Scout Report pretty hard. Just throwing that out there. Now that that it's Sunday morning and you know where your comics are, carry on! The Secret Meeting. Dark Legacy Comics. Experience Points has posted quite a few updates on a new story arc. I recommend starting with this one, which was linked last week, and then shuffling forward on your own. GU Comics: Call it Research. The latest LFG is quite interesting. I don't know if I'm more perplexed by his decision not to put on pants, or if I'm mostly nervous about his eyes in the last panel. Coercer has pointed out a comic I haven't listed before called Beyond the Tree. Check it out, and next week I'll start posting from the latest rather than the first. Thanks for the tip! NoObz: Undercover. NPC: 5 Pounds of Turkey Livers and Bink Quits WoW? and finally, Picked On. Teh Gladiators: Face Off! There will be no Road to BlizzCon this year! Still, if you're nostalgic or you missed it, now is as good a time as any to catch up. WoW eh: Dual-Speculating. I love this one! Particularly diabolical. You should also note that World of Warcraft eh?'s first store has been opened, and there is artwork to be had! Check out the latest from Two Lumps: the Adventures of Ebenezer and Snooch.

Last week's Funnies had quite the commenter turnout! To add my two cents (sorry, Canadian money), I would like to point out that despite the name of this column, web comics do not actually have to be funny to be included. Serious submissions, especially when coupled with stellar artwork, are always welcome. Incidentally, the name of this column was probably created just to confuse you.I'd also like to know when everybody allegedly started to prefer one-shot comics to those with a story arc? Personally, I love both types. I also enjoy recurring themes and "inside" jokes. I do try to feature comics that stand well on their own, but I'm not going to omit something good just because it doesn't appeal to everyone. Cru the Dwarf: Bedsheet Bump in the Night and the rather comical Brain Freeze that ensues. Experience Points: Vincent has his hands full with gear disputes, an overactive imagination, and the new iPhone Armory app that's acting a bit strangely. Flintlocke vs. the Horde: The Showdown, part 22. LFG: #270. Monkey Punchers: Turning Point. Kuo: Chapter 3, Kobold's Ambition 6. WoW eh: Milk: It'll Do Your Body Good. I love that last frame especially! Teh Gladiators: Fight it, Papa! NPC: Speciesists. The cats write a forum post in to Blizzard with some, er, suggestions, and Blizz Responds. I love these kitties! NoObz: NoobyNoob. The Adventures of Disgraph T. Dwarf: Hail the One True King. Thank goodness I wasn't drinking anything when I read this! In fact, I think I've learned instinctively to put the cup down before I start reading this one. I recommend reading it over a few times, because the awesomeness doesn't fade. Side Note: Not WoW related, but totally kitty and MJ related, from The Adventures of Ebenezer and Snooch. Next, I will include a link to something that we've been tipped off to all week.

It's officially summer, or Midsummer, if you like. This week's list is pretty hefty and even has a few seasonal entries. Enjoy! Cru the Dwarf: Sir Lothar has been given some cryptic orders. Dark Legacy Comics: Invention Time! I really liked this one. What could go wrong with Invention Time? GU Comics: Ingenious Plan. I have not yet done this, but I can't say I've been looking forward to it either. I did however spend some time screwing up my karma by the bonfire in Silvermoon City. GU Comics: More Fire Catching. I echo these sentiments. In the conclusion to Victor's plight from Experience Points, the punishment is laid out. I for one, agree RedWoodElf's comment. Then he ventures out onto a date "IRL" but doesn't get what he bargained for. Personally, I like comparing their head sizes. Oddly enough, he bravely pushes through. Check out the latest from Flintlocke vs. the Horde. I am totally jealous of that dude's button. In LFG's latest, the gnomes are getting restless, though they remain content to do nothing about it. NoObz: I'm Worth It. I never find any good options either. NPC: Kitty Names Revealed. It seems that cat identities are similar to those of females on the Internet. NPC: Perspective. Heck, people need guild bank alts these days! I have two. Teh Gladiators: The Beast Rares its Ugly Head(s). Kuo: When the Kobold disappears, the adventurers employ their own methods of finding him. World of Warcraft, eh?: The Battle is Lost. I love the detail of the creepy centaur's fingernails. I can't wait for the new features!

This week's set of comics is actually quite topical, from a recent scandal, to world news to proper feline nutrition. There also aren't as many Noblegarden-themed comics as I expected. Cru the Dwarf is making fire. Nifty things are afoot! Experience Points examines the latest content patch. Flintlocke vs the Horde: War Party part 11. GU Comics: It Figures. This is related to a recent story that we covered involving hacked accounts, a GM item, and some very naughty players. Read all about the Martin Fury Scandal, and then tell us what you thought in our polls. GU Comics also hosted a guest strip by Stormhaven, called Inconsistent Know-How. Don't forget to read the explanation underneath! Before I did, I thought it was about the fact that Mustard Dogs seems to never come up. I have stacks and stacks of the Rhino Dogs, but no dice. GU Comics also posted a comic about last week's Noblegarden festivities, Rabbits Everywhere. This is the second-latest LFG comic, but I thought that it stood better on its own than #248. NoObz: Useless. NPC: For the Taurine! I love this one. If you don't know what Taurine is, you don't love your cats enough. Yep, I said it. Check out the latest from Teh Gladiators. The Adventures of Disgraph T. Dwarf has updated, and I have to agree, I Love the Smell of Bacon in the Morning. Here is another from It's a 2v2 Life. Here's a newbie: KUO, with Eyebeam Irony. I couldn't decide which one to list, so check out a few of them, and I'll go with the latest next week.
