Today, EA will hold The Jacksonville Tribute Stream to remember Elijah Clayton and Taylor Robertson, the professional gamers who were killed in a shooting at a Madden 19 tournament. Since its purpose is to bring the community together to support everyone affected by the tragic incident last August 26th, the gaming giant is making the livestream as accessible as possible. You can choose to watch and follow the tribute later today, September 6th from 5PM to 6:30PM ET, on the game's official Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Mixer accounts. If you have a cable provider that gives you access to ESPN's streams, you can also go that route.

As a part of its ongoing response to the shooting at a Madden Classic esports event on Sunday, EA has established a fund to support victims of the incident, including the families of Taylor Robertson and Elijah Clayton, the two competitors who were killed. The company kicked in $1 million and said it is "working" to set up a fund where others can contribute. While news on that should be available soon, it set a date for a Jacksonville Tribute Livestream on September 6th, citing those in the community that have asked for a way to provide support and "show that this horrific event will not define us, but only serve to make our community stronger."

EA has now apologized for removing Colin Kaepernick's name from a song included in the soundtrack of Madden 19. The game's soundtrack features the YG song "Big Bank," in which Big Sean says in a verse, "Feed me to the wolves, now I lead the pack and shit. You boys all cap, I'm more Colin Kaepernick." But in the soundtrack, Kaepernick's name is censored, a move that was called out yesterday on Twitter.

With Madden 18, EA introduced "Longshot," which brought a story mode to the popular football franchise. This year, the big news (at least for right now) is that the game will return to PC when its annual installment arrives this fall. This is the first time you've had that option in about 10 years. So far at E3 2018, EA hasn't gone into a ton of detail about the other changes we'll see in Madden 19 -- like if that story mode will return -- but we're sure to hear more soon. At any rate, you'll be able to play the game on August 7th, including a "Hall of Fame Edition" with some of the all-time great players.
