Another Sunday, another release list. Let's see what's out in the next seven days.US Games The Darkness Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix The Bigs Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent Transformers the Game EU Games Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas Asian Games Marvel: Ultimate Alliance Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas Quite a well populated list. There's no real way anyone can complain about this week's releases. Unless you're a European The Darkness fan. Don't forget, though. If there's a game that's only available in another region, then feel free to import it. Your PlayStation 3 won't care. Release dates are subject to constant change, so give your local game shop a ring before walking down there.Which of this week's releases will you be picking up? We've already got our copies of The Darkness ordered.

We told you it was coming, and today it all finally arrived. Calling All Cars, PS1 games and a little added bonus. Check out the list below for the full release info. Calling All Cars (£4.99) Rampage: World Tour (£1.99) WipEout (£3.49) PS1 game Jumping Flash (£3.49) PS1 game Crash Bandicoot (£3.49) PS1 game So there you have it, not a trailer in sight. Yet, ironically, we kind of miss them. Where are the other two PS1 games, though? You know, the ones we actually want to buy. Syphon Filter and Medievil. Perhaps we'll see them arrive next week, along with Super Stardust HD.What do you make of this update? Pleased, or not? Let us know.

It's that time again. Time to look over the coming week's offerings and either laugh or cry. Or both. The releases for this week are as follows. US Games No new releases EU Games Armoured Core 4 Asian Games FolksSoul Def Jam Icon Interesting stuff. The Japanese have had two potentially excellent games released in the last two weeks. While we know that Ninja Gaiden Sigma includes English text and voices, we're not yet certain about FolksSoul. We have our suspicions and will keep you informed as soon as we find out. Don't forget, your PS3 just loves playing games from any country. Seriously. Loves it. So if there's something on the list you fancy, then don't be put off by its region. Release dates are in a constant flux, so be sure to call ahead before wasting a trip to the shops.

It seems like Sony Europe got a visit last night from the Ghost of PlayStation Future. "Update the European PSN Store!" the ghost would no doubt have said. "And not with one of those well-intentioned insults that consist of a couple of trailers. Give them games!" So Sony did and, seemingly, they will continue to do so for at least the next two weeks. So scared was Sony of the Ghost of PlayStation Future that they even planned to release a selection of PS1 games onto the European PSN Store, on the 22nd of June. Namely: Crash Bandicoot Medievil Wipeout Jumping Flash Syphon Filter With that, the Ghost of Playstation Future's work was done. Harmony would reign over the European continent. At least until July. The End.[Via PSP Fanboy]

Are you ready for this? We feel like, for the first time, we are relaying some good news to all the Europeans out there. Read on to see what your PSN Store now contains. Rampart game (£1.99) Joust game (£1.99) Motorstorm Time Attack Mode (free) Lair trailer (free) Haze trailer (free) Super Stardust HD trailer (free) The Darkness story trailer (free) An interview with Paul Hollywood video (free) Where to start! Yes, the games are Midway rehashes (and you know how we feel about those) but, really, it's the thought that counts. Sony are finally pulling their collective finger out and releasing some decent content to the European market. As a quick aside, we can't stop watching that Haze trailer. Honestly. It's on repeat in the background at this very moment. But what of the Motorstorm Time Attack Mode? We only just got done telling you that it has been delayed, which it has. In America, at least. For those of you about to download it, take heed. There are reports of problems occuring unless you do things in the proper order. Load Motorstorm and update to version 1.2 in the online menu, then download the Time Attack Mode and install.

Ready to discover Sony's release plans for this week? Us too. Let's get started. US Games Fantastic 4 Rise of the Silver Surfer EU Games Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer Asian Games Call of Duty 3 (Japan) Ninja Gaiden Sigma (Japan) Amored Core 4 (Korea) Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom (Korea) Hooray. Another movie tie-in. Just what we English speakers have been waiting for. At least the Japanese will be having some fun this week with Ninja Gaiden. Knowing their mad skills they'll have completed it by the time it's released in the west in a couple of weeks. If you need something to occupy you until then, then you might want to pick up my new book - How to generalise an entire nation in a single sentence: It's easy with my three step program.. If you're particularly language savvy, or you can deal with just looking at the pretty pictures and not the words, then feel free to import any of the Asian releases. You may not be able to read those funny squiggles, but your PS3 can. Release dates are subject to constant change, so check with your retailer just in case.

Those of you who enjoy your beat-em-ups will no doubt be pleased with the recent European PSN update. As well as a couple of trailers for upcoming PS3 games, Sony gave us Mortal Kombat 2. The full release list is as follows. Mortal Kombat 2 (£1.99) Colin McRae: DiRT trailer (free) Ninja Gaiden Sigma trailer (free) Isn't it is nice to finally get some playable content with a name that doesn't start with "Go!"? MK2 is a worthwhile purchase, especially considering the low price. We reviewed it in May (back when the Americans got it), giving it a score of nothing-to-write-home-about out of ten. Things can only get better for the PSN though, with upcoming releases of Calling All Cars and Super Stardust HD. Will removing the spines of our friends over the internet keep us occupied until then? We hope so.

Move along. Nothing to see here. Remember last week when I said June would be a much better month for game releases? Apparently I was wrong - with regards to the first week, at least. Check it out.US Games No new releases EU Games No new releases Asian Games No new releases Pretend Games Cutlery Wars XXIV: Quest for the Silver Teaspoon Honestly. There's nothing out for the PS3 this week. Anywhere. If you live in my mind, however, you can pick up the latest in the long running Cutlery Wars saga. Some people say that the quality has fallen as the series has continued, but don't let that stop you. Think of the teaspoons.Seriously, though. June will get better. We'll have a couple of games released next week and after that we've got titles like Singstar, The Darkness, Ninja Gaiden Sigma and FolksSoul to look forward to over the coming month or two.

Puzzles, puzzles, puzzles. We love puzzles. Hmmm, that would make a good name for a website. If it hadn't already been done. Puzzles are big in Europe, because we're all so smart. It's true. Sony knows this and is attempting to aid us on our quest to find more and more fun and interesting brain exercises (our 'Puzzle Quest', perhaps? -- Oh, that's been done before too ... ) by releasing Go! Puzzle on the European PlayStation Store today. Check the list below to see a full list of goodies that are available. Go! Puzzle - Starter Pack (free) Go! Puzzle - All Levels (£3.99) Go! Puzzle - Swizzle Blocks (£1.99) Go! Puzzle - Skyscraper (£1.99) Go! Puzzle - Aquatica (£1.99) PlayStation Network Showcase video (free) Burnout Paradise trailer (free) Puzzletastic, right? Nice of Sony to separate the different styles of game out like that, incase we want to mix and match our own perfect puzzle experience. We were hoping for Calling All Cars, but this isn't nearly as bad as last week's pitiful offerings. The PSN Showcase video is quite a fun watch. It's full of games that we won't be seeing for at least a couple of months. But as PlayStation 3 owners, we're used to that.[UPDATE] Prices for Go! Puzzle packs have been corrected. Thanks Dave.

Another week, another set of PS3 game releases. Here we go.US Games Surf's Up EU Games No new releases Asian Games No new releases Okay, so that's not exactly a 'set' of releases. It's a release. Pretty dire stuff, really. Don't worry though, June promises to be a much more prolific month. As long as none of those pesky last minute delays pop up. Fingers crossed. Don't forget, your PS3 is region free so if you're in a PAL region and want to play Surf's Up a few weeks early then there's nothing stopping you. No? Didn't think so. Releases are subject to change so make sure to call ahead before wasting a trip to the shop.

Europeans got a fairly hefty PSN update today. Though it features nothing but videos, it has a whiff of potential about it. The update for today is as follows. Spiderman 3 trailer (free) flOw trailer (free) Calling All Cars trailer (free) Pirates of the Caribbean 3 - 'It's all led to this' bonus video (free) Pirates of the Caribbean 3 - 'Jack Sparrow' bonus video (free) As we say, they're all videos. They are, however, also quite interesting. One would hope that the 'coming soon' message at the end of the Calling All Cars trailer would indicate a release next week. Fingers crossed for that. If so, it'd only be three weeks after the original release in America. Only. As for those Pirates of the Caribbean 3 videos, we find them intriguing. While together they only total about 5 minutes of footage, this is the first time a DVD-extra style video has been released on the PSN. Who knows, in the future we might be seeing things like downloadable commentary tracks for Blu-Ray movies that aren't found on the disc. We'll take all of that and more please, Sony. What sort of content would you like the PSN to expand into?
