Xperia T, V, TX benchmarks beats almost all of the best phones on the market including Quads

Results, Quadrant, Higher is better. Source www.gsmarena.com/sony_xperia_tx_t_and_v_benchmarks...

as of Aug.29. 2012

Sony Xperia T 5675 Highest
Sony Xperia V 6047
Sony Xperia TX 5793
Samsung Galaxy S II I5365
Meizu MX 4-core 5170
HTC One X (Tegra 3) 4842
LG Optimus 4X HD 4814
Motorola Atrix HD 4178

from GSM Arena "The Krait cores helped the three new Xperias pass the BenchmarkPi with flying colors - none of the quad-core smartphones currently on the market could come anywhere near their achievement. To be fair, though, BenchmarkPi doesn't make use of the multi-core architectures, so the dual-core Kraits have an advantage here."

Shame the Krait cores will have to be used to chug through Timescape. That seemed to slow my other sony phones down more than anything

why is it a shame? you can always turn it off if you don't like it, thats the beauty of Sony, their signature apps are optional in a way

They are? Not on gingerbread from what I have seen. "Facebook inside Xperia" and timescape seemed to be a constant on the phones. Perhaps now that they finally are shipping Ice Cream Sandwich on phones things are changing.

Since the SonyEricsson X10, both features are optional. you can switch booth off whenever you want. for Example, i went from x10 to Arc to ARC S to Xperia S, i never liked Timescape so it was always off in all of them. as for the Facebook inside xperia... i absolutely love it, and has no issues in performance whatsoever.... i tried off and on, Xperia S was just awesome in both situations.

Luckily, many of these are on the 4G LTE network with AT&T, my carrier. As a graphic artist the 4GLTe speed is almost mandatory (I have it in New York). I imagine it might be the same for architects, mechanical or aerospace engineers, or anyone else who deals with visual ideas on a frequent basis.
