The Hearthstone Innkeeper's Invitational was a rousing success at BlizzCon 2013, and now you can view the first-round videos online. Hearthstone's official Youtube channel has just posted videos of all four of the first rounds of the Innkeeper's Invitational -- the semi-finals and finals are of course still available on BlizzCon's official website, or over at Twitch, for those interested in seeing the tournament from beginning to end. The first four matches feature Day[9] vs. Reckful, Hafu vs. Kripparrian, Trump vs. Husky, and Noxious vs. Artosis. Hearthstone may not be out just yet, but even in beta, the game has managed to capture the attention and devotion of those in the beta. With open beta not too far away, hopefully the enthusiasm for this entertaining little card game will continue -- and hopefully we'll see a second Innkeeper's Invitational at the next BlizzCon. For coverage of all of the first-round games, visit Hearthstone's official Youtube channel -- and if you'd like more information on the players involved, you can check out the cards each player was packing for the tournament on Hearthstone's official blog.

The Innkeeper's Invitational will be BlizzCon's inagural Hearthstone tournament, featuring eight Hearthstone players hand-picked by Blizzard. For those who may not be familiar with the competitors, Blizzard is releasing a set of small interviews to be published in two parts profiling each of the players taking a shot at the tournament title. The first four can be found here and are, as the header image implies, Noxious, Hafu, Husky, and Reckful. I really enjoyed reading these quick get-to-know-you style Q&As. Each player is given the same set of questions to answer and their responses are pretty interesting, especially their individual takes on who their most feared opponents are. In fact -- interestingly enough -- the most commonly mentioned "most feared an hated" were the four players who will be featured in the second interview: Trump, Kripparian, Day[9], and Artosis. No love/hate for each other, guys? Check out the interviews for more information from each of these competitors, including their own personal favorite Arena picks as well as why their personal tournament shield logos are what they are. The answers are not entirely what you might expect!

  • AMD's quad-core Llano APUs pegged for Q3 2011 release, Computex unveiling

X-bit labs has a (pretty massive) scoop of AMD info to share with us this week, as it has put together the above chart detailing what it expects the company's APU roadmap will look like for the remainder of the year. Published a couple of days ago, this data has now been partially corroborated by the snoops over at DigiTimes, who confirm a couple of the model names and agree that AMD is planning an initial Q3 rollout of five Llano chips, to be followed by even more processors coming in Q4 of 2011. Llano represents AMD's play for the performance crown, coming as it does with dual- or quad-core processing units, DirectX 11-capable Radeon HD 6000-series graphics, and a dual-channel DDR3 memory controller, all bundled up inside the same warm and toasty package. More E-series APUs for power-conscious users are also said to be on the cards, and AMD itself should be making these plans official at Computex in Taipei come early June. It's a bit of a wait, but we've got a feeling it'll be worth it.

We've had some requests for husky loot lately, and so here's an item that isn't quite phat these days (just a little husky), but used to be quite interesting.Name: Ancient Hakkari Manslayer (Wowhead, Thottbot, WoWDB)Type: Epic One-hand AxeDamage/Speed: 69 - 130 / 2.00 (49.8 DPS)Attributes: This is how you can tell this weapon is old-school: it has just one bit of green text, and that text is "Steals 48-54 life from target enemy." Which doesn't, on its face, sound quite that nice. But at the time this weapon was current (ye olde patch 1.7), that was a hot proc. Because the proc actually scaled along with spell damage -- if you had 150 spell damage, and this proc hit, you wounded the enemy for 150 shadow damage, while healing yourself with same. %Gallery-33600%

This is a weird one -- we've been doing Ulduar epics lately, but here's something a little different for you to hunt down.Name: Porcelain Bell (Wowhead, Thottbot, Armory)Type: Poor Salvage ItemDamage/Speed: N/AAttributes: Embellished with a figure reaching toward a swan. This is a grey piece of vendor trash, probably the worst quality item we've ever featured here. Wait a minute Mike, I can hear you saying, this is supposed to be Phat Loot Phriday. Why are you showing us a piece of vendor junk? Because, my friends, in the eyes of the vendors, this little bell is worth more than the Warglaives of Azzinoth combined (and you could even throw in Thori'dal, too). Yes, this little bell sells to vendors for... wait for it... 100g. %Gallery-33600%

  • Have 360, will travel. DIY 360 travel case

A dedicated 360 Fanboy at Frag-X has made himself a rugged carrying case for his Xbox 360 "in about 30 minutes for well under 40 dollars." He used a Husky aluminum toolbox, available at Home Depot for $20, black foam available at a fabric or craft store, spray adhesive, a CD wallet, and some Velcro. Everything said and done, the real catch here is the toolbox, which happens to fit the 360, power supply, cords, and controllers perfectly. Maybe even too perfectly... Now I'm trying to think of a reason to haul the 360 around. [Via MAKE]UPDATE: I just noticed how similar this case is to Antec's "Pro Gamer's Case." They're about the same price, although this one gives you that "I made this" warm inside feeling. Oh yeah, and that Antec one looks really flimsy. I wouldn't trust my Xbox 180 in that thing... and I'm pretty sure it alone could withstand a ten foot drop onto concrete.
