What can we say? Intempo has launched a new pair of iPod-compatible speaker systems, and unless you're somehow just entering the market for one in the latter half of 2008, chances are you're already yawning. Nevertheless, the RDi-W (pictured) does distinguish itself somewhat by including support for DAB and wireless internet radio, and there's a 30-watt internal amplifier to kick out the jams. The much drabber Fusion keeps things small and simple by offering up just 25-watts of power and DAB / FM tuners. Expect the couple to sashay into e-tailers next month for £169.99 ($316) / £99 ($184).Read - RDi-WRead - Fusion

This is either the best or worst idea ever -- we're still not sure. The Intempo Rebel (aptly named) records songs from FM radio stations, strips out DJ chatter and ads, and saves them to an SD or MMC card as MP3 files. What's more, it even goes after the most-played songs to make sure you're getting all the good (overplayed?) tracks right off the air. It also sports a USB port, line-in jack, and headphone plug. Intempo calls it a "music sampling system" that cuts out "hyperactive DJs" -- we call it a headache for the RIAA. It can be yours for £69.99 or $138 US.[Via Redferret]

Last we heard from Intempo, it was busy grasping for business with a slew of ho hum iPod docks, but it's getting '08 started by offering up a slightly (keyword: slightly) more attractive item. The Daisy internet radio can access "thousands" of online and FM stations, and it can reportedly last for around 20 hours before needing a recharge. You'll also find a pretty basic LCD, but outside of that, we wouldn't expect a whole heap of extras. The Daisy is slated to hit production by next April and will land on store shelves with an admittedly steep £149 ($292) price tag shortly thereafter.[Via TechDigest]

Now that the nanos have gone rainbow, it's only fitting that we see some color-matched accessories to show off your DAP. Intempo's IDS-01b iPod Speakers & Dock comes in metallic silver, green, blue, and pink (sorry, RED owners), and touts all the typical niceties (and drawbacks) you'd expect in a ho hum iPod speaker dock. The unit boasts dual six-watt drivers, functionality with "all" dock connecting iPods, an aux input for your other DAPs / PMPs, and a USB cable to sync up your 'Pod with the nearby Mac or PC. Unfortunately, the device doesn't sport any sort of battery powered option, so you're stuck sans sound if you deviate too far from an extension cord, and we don't imagine those shiny Neodymium drivers delivering any sort of award-winning audio quality either. Regardless, Intempo's latest can be picked up now across the pond for £34.99 ($69).[Via ShinyShiny]

  • Intempo Digital's Buddy pink GPS

This one goes out to all the ladies and lovers of pink: feeling a little estranged by all the man-gadgets, or tiring of the unisex gray / black plastic or metal look? Intempo Digital's new Buddy (no, not the De La Soul kind of Buddy) is pink, and that's about it -- they're pretty shy with specs and any hard information on the unit, but from what we can tell, it does 2D and 3D maps, has the usual history and favorite locations, POIs, and is, um, pink. As you can probably tell, the selling point here is pink. Of course, we'd like to think the kinds of ladies who read Engadget wouldn't merely be wooed into buying anything due to its heteronormatively femmy color, but remember what a great gift the pink RAZR turned out to be, guys?[Via Shiny Shiny]
