B&H Photo is closing out September with the same deal it began the month with: $200 off the OnePlus 7T smartphone. The OnePlus 7T is quite similar to the OnePlus 7 Pro, a handset that made it into our list of favorite midrange handsets. The 7T has a 6.5-inch 1080p AMOLED display and the Pro has a 6.7-inch 1440p AMOLED screen.

OnePlus doesn't want its fans to have to wait a year for a phone with the most advanced chipset available. So in 2016 it started launching new flagships about every six months. Beginning with the OnePlus 3T, the company began doing sort of mid-cycle upgrades, or "T" variants each year. Then with the OnePlus 7, the company introduced a "Pro" version, offering a higher-end device for those willing to pay a bit more. Things got even more confusing when OnePlus got ready to launch the T-versions. For one, there's no Pro version. At least not yet. Instead we're only getting a OnePlus 7T. And weirdly, it gains some features once exclusive to the 7 Pro. It even packs a more powerful processor, but sticks with a lower res screen.

At this point, OnePlus feels like that relative who is excited about a great gift they bought you and literally can't wait until your birthday to spill the details. It will formally launch the OnePlus 7T September 26th, but it just can't help itself from revealing official images of the handset.
OnePlus will unveil the 7T on September 26th
It didn't take long for OnePlus to confirm launch plans for the 7T series -- and it turns out the most recent event rumor was partly true. The phone maker now intends to introduce the OnePlus 7T line at a North American event on September 26th, with Europeans getting a follow-up event on the previously rumored October 10th. There's also an accompanying teaser video to build hype for the phones, although it unsurprisingly doesn't say much beyond offering a brief glimpse of the hardware (pictured above).
OnePlus 7T Pro may debut on October 10th
You might only have to wait a few weeks more if you've been holding off for a OnePlus 7T. The historically accurate OnLeaks and Compareraja have claimed that both the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro will be unveiled on October 10th, with availability slated for October 15th. The apparent scoop also includes specs for both, although it's clear these are incremental upgrades -- you won't be in a rush to upgrade a OnePlus 7 Pro.
