Sony Movie Channel pops up on DirecTV, U-verse and Dish Network
Already available on U-verse and Dish Network, Sony Movie Channel is now also on DirecTV. According to DirecTV's official Twitter account, subscribers with the HD Extras Package can find it on channel 563. We haven't heard much about the network since its recent launch, but we do love Ghostbusters II, so it's probably worth a shot. also notable is that Sony Movie Channel's Twitter handle mentioned an online VOD arm accessible via TV provider login is in the works, so keep an eye out for that too. Looks like Dish Network customers should have online access via DishOnline.com and while it's an HD Platinum Package channel, all subscribers can enjoy a free month beginning today -- details are after the break.
