What the world needs now is just one thing, and that thing is a bejeweled Hello Kitty laptop. Fortunately, Japan's Mouse Computer is well aware of this, which is why it's unleashed the LuvBook S, pictured above. Designed in collaboration with Sanrio and Swarovski, this masterpiece is powered by a 2.2 GHz Intel Core i3-2330M processor and boasts an 11.6-inch, 1,366 x 768 display. It also packs a 500GB HDD and a 1.3 megapixel camera, but all that really matters is the swaggy centerpiece -- a heart-ensconced Hello Kitty mug made out of about 1,100 Swarovski stones and untold buckets of cuddles. The LuvBook is available now for ¥69,930 (about $900), at the source link below.

It's been a couple of years now, but remember the hit movie Juno, and the main character's hamburger-styled telephone? That phone made a splash with fans of kitschy art, and Flickr user Karen apparently decided to take the idea and run with it on her 3G iPhone. She's posted a nice gallery of pictures on how to give her iPhone a hamburger-style case, building out foam and plastic molds around a DVD flipcase. In the end, the prop looks pretty excellent, even if it doesn't quite work exactly the same as the phone in the movie does. But it's a cool project nonetheless. And the graphic on the iPhone is pretty funny, too.

Computex may finally be winding down, but with most of the big product announcements now out of the way, that only means there's a better chance for some of the hidden treasures of the show to shine, like this collection of Chinese-styled gadgets discovered by our pals at Engadget Chinese. That includes a stylish "Nah" box made of real china that actually contains a 1.5TB hard drive, a bamboo sheet that supposedly acts as a laptop cooling pad, a pair of vase-shaped speakers, various mice decorated with Chinese opera masks and, of course, no shortage of eye-catching USB drives. All of which are better demonstrated in pictures than words, so we recommend hitting up the gallery below.

The role of Hello Kitty in electronics is a strange one. Just when you think there are things that couldn't possibly be branded by the cute little Sanrio icon, you're proved wrong. Hello Kitty can be branded on absolutely anything. Case in point. Observe this Kitty-styled iPod car charger. It offers in-car power for your iPod. It provides an FM transmitter so you can listen to your iTunes on your radio. It's stem is long enough to allow you to use it with a floor-level cigarette adapter and yet it's still pink enough to please any 8- and 10-year-old girls in your vicinity. If the pink so takes you, you can also purchase Hello Kitty iPod speakers, Hello Kitty stereo clocks with iPod docking, Hello Kitty iPod cases, or an actual iPod engraved with the Hello Kitty logo.
