LG launches Prada II teaser site, matching Bluetooth watch

Not that it wasn't official already or anything, but nothing demonstrates dedication to a product like an exclusive home on the web. Yep, LG has just launched a standalone microsite for the altogether sexy Prada II, and while you already know about the specs -- HSDPA, WiFi, 5-megapixel camera, 3-inch 400 x 240 pixel capacitive multi-touch display and quad-band GSM connectivity -- you probably weren't aware of the matching Prada Link Bluetooth watch. As you'd expect, the timepiece syncs with your Prada II and shows your incoming calls / texts, and we'll go out on a limb and presume that it tells time, too. Sadly, the tidbits we're most interested in (a release date and pricing) aren't clearly available on the site, but we'll be refreshing like madmen hoping for that to change.

RED teases again with exposed ports

We've less than a week before RED announces something special on November 13th, but it's not letting you creep any closer to that magical day without two more teases (one after the break) beforehand. As it's already done on a number of occasions, RED's Jim Jannard has posted up a new duo of teasers of the purported DSMC (Digital Still & Motion Camera) DSLR, this time showing off a number of ports that you're surely anxious to slip your connectors into. Oh please, get your mind out of the gutter.

Alienware teases evolutionary product, should unveil today

What is this, the day of the tease or something? We're already at our wits' end after what RED did to us earlier, we're not so sure we can withstand another. In an Alienware Insider e-mail (titled "Countdown to Launch") sent out to select individuals, the above picture was included -- and, that was it. We've reason to believe the new product might be dubbed LM7, but that's far from concrete at this point. What's not far, however, is the official unveiling of whatever this thing is. Desktop? Laptop? Alienware's valiant entry into the world of head-mounted displays? Tick, tick, tick...

Voodoo's Rahul Sood continues to tease new product, calls it "forward-thinking"

Oh Rahul, why must you tease us so? Over a month after you referenced that "some other thing," we're still left to wonder what exactly "that thing" is. In a recent video response (posted after the break) to a question surrounding the HP Blackbird 002 gaming PC, Voodoo's founder closes things out by informing viewers that a product "way ahead of its time" is sitting just behind him, but he confesses that he can't show it off just yet. Of course, he also threw in the "forward-thinking" buzzword and assured us that the industry would "absolutely embrace" it, but as of now, there's simply nothing there to wrap our retinas around besides that smile. The game's growing tired, Mr. Sood.

Epson teases nobody with its chubby netbook silhouette

Can you feel it? That tepid urge purging itself into a dew of sweaty anticipation across your forehead can only be attributed to another boxy netbook, this time presented by Epson in teaser format. The MiniNote hits Japan in November packing the usual netbook specs: 1.6GHz Atom with XP riding 1GB memory and 160GB hard disk, WiFi, and a 10.2-inch LCD slinging 1,024 x 600 pixels from bezel to bezel. Hardly worthy of so many exclamation points. That unfortunate silhouette even makes the LaVie Light look sleek by comparison. We can hardly wait to be amused by the spectacle of the unveiling.

Dell teases with 17-inch quad-core laptop sporting 16GB of memory

This is going to be huge. Unfortunately, we're talking size not marketplace impact when Dell's 17-inch Precision "mobile workstation" rolls out this fall. This portable desktop replacement promises up to 1TB of storage configured in a dual-drive RAID configuration, quad-core processor, and 16GB of graphics memory (1GB for graphics) with enough oomph to power a pair of external 30-inch displays. It also includes a number of unidentified media slots and an integrated jog shuttle controller -- a pretty good hint at the mobile media types this laptop is targeting. Watch it all go down in the video after the break.

Update: Heh, this is the same Dell leaked last month carrying the M6400 moniker.

Voodoo can't just come clean, has to tease yet another new product

Most everyone digs a surprise, but the novelty tends to wear off after the third or fourth iteration of the same trick, wouldn't you say? Rather than just coming right out and showing us the wares, Voodoo's Rahul Sood is playing the tease card again with an obviously undisclosed new product. In an apparent attempt to keep the wave (started by the Omen and Envy 133, by the way) rolling, Mr. Sood has dropped a sliver of a hint on The Next Bench. He states that "there's also this other thing [Voodoo is] working on right now," but he very purposefully fails to elaborate. Just keep it sexy and overpowered and we won't kvetch about the build up... too much.

Creative hosting event on 17th, new X-Fi products expected

That's an honest to goodness media invite from Creative. The kind sent to tease us into attending product launches. So it's natural to expect something new from Creative when this thing kicks off on September 17th. Will we finally see the launch of Creative's long-rumored, and sorely-needed evolution to the Zen Vision or just more gear of notable sound quality but questionable build and interface design? We shall see.

Canon starts teaser campaign, evolved 5D expected

Canon just launched its teaser campaign dubbed, "Destined Evolution." There's no way at this point to know for sure, but that certainly looks like a compact, full-frame 5D body (pictured after the break) given the button locations, mode dial, and seemingly lack of a pop-up flash. Three years since the 5D was originally launched, Photokina suddenly can't come soon enough.

Update: Another teaser shot with slightly more detail from Canon Japan posted after the break.

Sony teaser points to laptop refresh on Monday

Sony Style is running a rather large teaser on its main page, featuring a quite distinctive power button and the blurb "Performance / Style / Mobility. Redefined." Hrm. We wonder what it could be?

Acer "blue" teased for mystery launch

That friends, is Acer's teaser for a new "notebook PC concept" set for release in New York later today. We're not sure what it is, but it's not very often that the unveiling of a concept device (which may or may not be manufactured) warrants a press event hosted by a company's president. In this case, Acer's Vista-hatin' prez, Gianfranco Lanci. Whatever it is, that hint of a multi-media, touch controller is not something we'd expect to see on their Eee PC killer.

iriver's CES tease-fest continues

iriver's favorite pastime is toying with our heartstrings, and while the latest barrage of fragmented, high-resolution images does just that, at least we've been able to wrap our paws around some of what we're seeing. Hit up the gallery below for today's pictorial treasures.

Another iriver teaser: the Clix Plus?

Another iriver mystery courtesy of a marketing teaser campaign. This little guy appears to share the hinged, electronic dictionary stylings of iriver's other D-series offerings. However, another MIC-leak (think FCC for South Korea) tells us that iriver is working on a new Clix Plus model in 2/4/8GB capacities and a rumored 3-inch LCD. Could this be it? No one knows, but it's apparently delicious with coffee.

iriver teases again -- is this the W7 with WiFi and 8GB?

When iriver teases, our gadget reflexes go all pointy. Mind you, we know absolutely nothing about it except for what you see in that picture. However, there's plenty of speculation on the iriverfans site suggesting that we're looking at the packaging surrounding a new flash player. In fact, South Korea's FCC-equivalent, the MIC, just certified a new W7 iriver player today. W, as in WiFi, with either 4GB or 8GB in tow. Please iriver, just a bit more info before we commit to our gift giving guide?

Sony teases us with Drive

Sony sure loves to tease, and while the Rolly campaign finally resulted in an actual product, we're still scratchin' our noggins on this one. There's not a lot to go on when looking at the teaser page for the simply-titled Drive, and aside from that delightfully green bow and a seductive "Coming soon" phrase, all we can make out is something akin to a scaled-down treadmill with a turgid windscreen. Okay, so maybe it's just an all-in-one PC of some sort (we can almost imagine a floating LCD behind that ribbon), but we'll leave the real guessing to you.

[Thanks, Cheek]
