Get $750 off Dell's loaded Alienware m15 gaming laptop

    by

It took Dell long enough to make a thin and light gaming laptop, but the Alienware m15 was worth the wait. While it's a bit chunkier than rival models at 18mm and 4.8 pounds, the latest m15 model has performance to burn, along with a great display, keyboard and trackpad. For Cyber Monday, Dell has marked down a fully specced out Alienware m15, with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU, top-tier Intel Core i7-9750H CPU, 15.6-inch 1,920 x 1,080 240Hz display, 512GB PCIe m.2 SSD and no less than 32GB of RAM. That's nearly a fully-loaded model with a ray-tracing GPU and a display that's a good fit for it. The extra RAM and good-sized GPU will also be handy for productivity and content creation chores and you've got room for another M.2 and regular SSD, should you need it for video editing chores. Best of all, it costs just $1,399.99 on Dell's website, or a generous $750 off the regular $2,149.99 price.

A one year Disney+ subscription is now available for $59.99 on Cyber Monday for one day only, or $5 per month. That's $10 off the normal $69.99 price.

    TCL's 65-inch 6 Series 4K TV drops to $700 at Best Buy

TV deals are everywhere during the Cyber Monday period, but this is one you might want to consider. Best Buy is selling a 65-inch version of TCL's latest 6 Series TV (the R625) for $700 during the Cyber Monday period, or about $200 less than the usual sticker. That gets you a 4K set with very good picture quality for the money, a Roku smart interface and, of course, a giant screen that should do justice to your high-res content. Just be aware of the quirks -- it might not be suitable for everyone.

It used to be that Cyber Monday deals were the consolation prizes for those that missed Black Friday, but that doesn't appear to be the case at Target. It's already running a Cyber Monday sale that includes some steep discounts, including one that's even steeper than on Black Friday. Most notably, the 10.2-inch iPad is selling for $230, or $20 less than the already hefty sale price from Friday -- this may be your best shot at getting Apple's no-frills tablet.

Elektron's synths, samplers, drum machines and grooveboxes are known for their top-notch sound and unique sequencing features. Once thing they're not known for, though, is being affordable. The Model:Samples is the big exception to that rule. And it's getting even cheaper for the Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Most retailers have knocked $100 of the price, bringing the Model:Samples price to just $299 -- making it perhaps the best bargain in grooveboxes right now.

Essential Phone drops to $399 for Cyber Monday

    by
    Nick Summers

    11.27.2017

Another month, another Essential discount. In October, the company — spearheaded by Android creator Andy Rubin — slashed the price of its first phone to $499, and today it's been dropped to an even more tempting $399. That price-tag also nets you a 360-degree camera module — an accessory that normally adds another $180 to your bill. As The Verge notes, the deal is available exclusively on Amazon and is no doubt a Cyber Monday special. The usual drawbacks apply -- in short, the camera is a bit rubbish and there's no headphone jack -- but for the price you would be hard pushed to find a device that looks as good. The OnePlus 5T, for instance, costs $499 and the Google LG-made Pixel 2 starts at $649.

  • Today is the best day to buy an iPhone from T-Mobile

    by
    Mike Wehner

    12.01.2014

Holiday deals on the iPhone are sometimes underwhelming -- mainly because the phones sell so well on their own that they don't really need any help finding homes -- but T-Mobile's Cyber Monday deal is actually pretty fantastic. For today only, T-Mobile is selling iPhones with higher memory capacities for the price of the lower tier models. Here's what the company is offering: Buy an iPhone 6 16GB and we'll upgrade you to an iPhone 6 64GB Buy an iPhone 5s 32GB and we'll upgrade you to an iPhone 5s 64GB Buy an iPhone 5c 8GB and we'll upgrade you to an iPhone 5c 32GB Yes, a 64GB iPhone 6 for the price of the 16GB version. That's a $100 savings on the newest iPhone on the block. The other upgrade offers are similarly great, and all told this is one of the better Cyber Monday deals on Apple gear across the web. The deals are only available online -- Cyber Monday, yada yada yada -- so head to T-Mobile's site if you're hoping to score a free upgrade before the stocks run dry.

  • Dragon Age: Inquisition cut to $45 in Amazon's Cyber Monday sale

Summon the advisers to the war table and plot a course for Amazon, because today's deal of the day has Dragon Age: Inquisition down to $45 on all platforms. The offer ends at midnight PT today (3AM ET tomorrow), and only applies to the extras-less Standard version. As for why Inquisition is worth the inquiry, BioWare's RPG scored the full five stars in our review. In the words of Joystiq's Alexander Sliwinski, "This is the sequel fans were hoping for all along, and new adventurers will be eased into this next generation of Dragon Age."

  • The Daily Grind: Did you spend money on MMOs over the holiday?

    by
    Jef Reahard

I managed to escape Steam's Black Friday sale with my wallet intact. I did buy a few titles, but I spent less than 15 bucks in the process, which is quite a reversal from 2013 and 2012 when I gorged on games that I still haven't played yet! I didn't spend a dime on MMOs, though, mainly because I already own the interesting ones and I try really hard to avoid virtual currency, cash shops, and the like. What about you, Massively readers? Did you spend any money on MMOs over the holiday? Every morning, the Massively bloggers probe the minds of their readers with deep, thought-provoking questions about that most serious of topics: massively online gaming. We crave your opinions, so grab your caffeinated beverage of choice and chime in on today's Daily Grind!
