EA's return to Steam starts with 'Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order'
In the near future, you'll be able to buy new EA games through Steam once again, and start them directly from Valve's launcher. The publisher is teaming up with the storefront to offer the EA Access service there as well. Their tie-up will get underway next month, when you'll be able to buy Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order through Steam. Respawn's take on the Star Wars universe is set to arrive November 15th and Steam pre-orders open today.
Le Creuset's Star Wars cookware is available to pre-order
If you've been itching to get your hands on that roasting pan with Han Solo encased into the lid, now's your chance. Le Creuset unveiled a selection of Star Wars cookware earlier this month and said it would go on sale in November. Disney's next batch of 'Star Wars' movies starts in 2022
Disney hasn't quite wrapped up the Star Wars Skywalker saga, which will come to an end this December with Episode 9: The Rise of Skywalker. However, it's looking ahead with the franchise, as it updated its release schedule with dates for three new Star Wars films. The first will hit theaters in December 2022, followed by December 2024 and 2026. They'll alternate with the Avatar sequels, the first of which arrives in 2021 (it was previously scheduled for December next year).
'Star Wars' VR game 'Vader Immortal' teases story details in trailer
One of the launch titles you'll get to check out on Oculus Quest when it arrives this spring is Vader Immortal, a virtual reality series set in the Star Wars universe. Rift and Rift S owners won't miss out, though -- the game is coming to those headsets too, as revealed at Star Wars Celebration alongside a trailer for the first episode.

'Avengers: Endgame' pre-sales are crashing movie ticket sites
If you were hoping to snag Avengers: Endgame tickets in a snap when pre-sales opened this morning, you might have been dismayed to see error messages or long wait times on ticket sites. Many of those trying to make sure they can see the Marvel blockbuster as soon as possible were greeted with error codes on several ticket sites in the US, UK and Canada (including AMC and Cineplex), while others were faced with virtual lines of more than an hour and other problems.
Disney hires for Lucasfilm Games as EA flounders with 'Star Wars' (updated)
There hasn't been a Lucasfilm Games-badged release since before 1991's Monkey Island 2, but that isn't stopping Disney from resurrecting the classic label. The company recently posted several job listings for producers and marketers under the Lucasfilm Games badge, all of whom would oversee the development of games based on "Lucasfilm IP" like Star Wars. The team plans to support a wide range of platforms that could include living room consoles, PCs, smartphones and "AR/VR platforms."
Respawn will premiere its 'Star Wars' game on April 13th
After years of work, Respawn is nearly ready to show what its Star Wars game is all about. Lucasfilm has announced that EA and Respawn will formally reveal Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order at a Celebration Chicago panel on April 13th. The two are unsurprisingly shy about details, but you'll meet a Padawan who survived Order 66 (the command to exterminate the Jedi) and experience what it's like to live in an era where there are seemingly no Jedi left. You can expect "never-before-released" details of the game, Lucasfilm said, which isn't hard when the game is largely a secret.
