It seems as though every day there's more mainstream saturation for Nintendo products. Why just the other day, we spotted Drew Carey offering a decently tasty Nintendo DSi bundle during the "Showcase Showdown" portion of his (well, not really his) gameshow, The Price is Right -- should the contestants guess the right price, of course. Though titles like Lord of the Rings: Conquest and, unsurprisingly, The Price is Right game were among those offered, DS staples like New Super Mario Bros. and Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword also made their way into the fray. We know, we know, the question on all your minds is of course: Did the contestant win? You'll have to see yourself over at the CBS website, folks! [Via GoNintendo]

Truth be told, The Price is Right has indeed been airing in high-definition for the past couple of weeks just as we heard it would, but we figured it prudent to affirm that yes, the famed game show is indeed now in high-definition. As far as we know, CBS will continue broadcasting the daytime mainstay in high-def after its stint on Friday nights is up, so be sure and set that HD DVR for all you folks holding it down with the 8 to 5 whenever.[Thanks, Jerry H.]

We'll be straight with you -- we're taking this with a sizable bucket of salt at the moment, but we've received word that CBS is gearing up to deliver what's undoubtedly one of America's most recognizable game shows in stunning high-definition. We already knew that the network was planning to air a series of The Price is Right episodes on Friday nights here soon, but apparently, the half dozen primetime shows will actually be broadcast in 1080i. Reportedly, you can watch contestants come on down in HD starting at 8:00PM on February 22nd, but don't expect to see the show make the leap to high-def in its daytime slot until sometime in March.[Image courtesy of Yahoo, thanks anonymous tipster]

The next time you see a couple being cutesy in SL, it might just be Drew Carey and his fiancee. According to PARADE Magazine, they use Second Life to go on dates when they're in different cities. While I think that they deserve kudos for finding a way to stay close to each other when away, I do take issue with Drew's explanation. You see, he seems to think that SL is a website that is like a virtual world. For those unaware, you would go to the official Second Life website to download a client for the virtual world. Come on, Drew! That's like saying that The Price is Right is a reality tv program that's like a game show. Are you sure you're not meeting up in Habbo Hotel?
