Second ‘Battlefield 1’ DLC deploys on September 19th
At Gamescom last week, EA showed off a timeline of future expansions headed to Battlefield 1, including the next to come, In The Name of the Tsar. The game's second DLC just got a global release date on September 19th, but players who bought the Premium Pass can load it up two weeks early on September 5th. Even if you don't care about the extra content, tech heads might want to buy it for another added feature: HDR10 support.
Facebook Marketplace makes its way to 17 European countries
If you're looking for stuff to buy online, check out Facebook Marketplace -- it might now be available in your country. The social network has expanded the presence of its eBay and Craigslist rival to cover 17 more countries in Europe, namely Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. It's been accessible in the UK for quite some time.

Blizzard's digital card game Hearthstone's newest full expansion is now live. Knights of the Frozen Throne brings 135 new cards and free solo content to the title and a couple new mechanics, which will shake up the game's competitive meta. 'Horizon Zero Dawn' add-on 'The Frozen Wilds' lands November 7th
Guerilla Games still isn't saying much about what Horizon Zero Dawn's upcoming The Frozen Wilds expansion will contain, but at least you know when you'll get your hands on it. The studio has revealed that its big DLC will arrive on November 7th -- appropriately, just ahead of winter. You'll hear more about Frozen Wilds closer to launch, but the company is teasing "new, highly lethal machines" for Aloy to fight in addition to the namesake tundra and a fresh story. All we know for sure: if Guerrilla can maintain the production quality from the base game, you'll have something to look forward to in several weeks.
'Wolfenstein II' DLC adds three new Nazi-punching characters
You'll be playing as more than just the broken-schmeckled B.J. Blazkowicz in Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. That's because the game's three expansions will feature a different protagonist fighting for America by punching and murdering the Nazis standing in their way.
Waze expands it carpooling experiment across California
Alphabet's Waze Rider carpool offering is expanding its service area in California. Now, no matter where you are in the Golden State, you'll be able to grab a ride, TechCrunch reports. Prior to this, it was limited to cities in the Bay area and Israel. As we've previously written, Waze Rider isn't supposed to compete directly against ride-hailing platforms.
First 'Zelda: Breath of the Wild' DLC adds more reasons to replay
Nintendo's latest Zelda game is such a smash hit that copies of the Switch version outsold the console itself. Now, for players who've already traversed every corner of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild's open world, the company has revealed details of its first planned DLC expansion. Due sometime this summer, DLC will add the promised 'Hard Mode' where enemies are powered up by one level, have higher maximum levels and they slowly regain health -- oh, and enemies and chests can be found in the sky.

KeyMe aims to replace locksmiths with kiosks in more cities
If you lock yourself out of your home or car, you typically have only one option -- call a locksmith and hope they can get to you quickly. But you'll pay a small fortune for their time and expertise. New York-based startup KeyMe wants to change all that. The company, whose iOS and Android apps digitally scan images of your keys and store them in the cloud, today announced it plans to aggressively expand to more cities around the country, opening over 2,000 self-serve kiosks by the end of this year.

'Kerbal Space Program' expansion has you making your own missions
Squad isn't done adding to Kerbal Space Program just because the game's protracted development is over... if anything, the studio is just getting started. The company has unveiled KSP's first expansion, Making History, and this is definitely represents more than your usual downloadable add-on. It earns its namesake from the ability to reenact real-life space missions (insofar as you can in a fictional universe, anyway), but the real highlight is the option to create your own missions. There's a simple "drag and drop" interface, Squad says, and you can throw players for a loop by introducing everything from arbitrary limits (such as fuel or time) to surprise events.

Ubisoft has unveiled its roadmap for The Division year two expansions and is throwing in some gifts for the game's first anniversary. Judging by the details it revealed, you're not going to get a big updates à la one of the game's main rivals, Destiny. Lyft's biggest rollout takes it to 50 new cities
Lyft has just announced its biggest expansion to date. The ride-sharing service is now available in over 50 new cities and four new states across the US. They're mostly located in the Midwest, but the list also includes a few other parts of the country. This rollout follows another expansion last month that brought the service to over 40 new locations -- in all, Lyft now operates in over 300 cities in the United States.
Samsung Pay adds new online payment options
Samsung Pay already works in a lot of places because of its canny MST magnetic tech, and the company is taking steps to make the service even more ubiquitous. Starting next year, it will work with Mastercard's Masterpass, letting more users buy online from a computer or handheld device, skip the usual form-filling and authenticate with a fingerprint. (Mastercard also made Masterpass deals with Android Pay and Microsoft Wallet earlier this week.)

As much as The Sims 4 has done to expand its cultural boundaries over time, it has always been set in the suburbs -- you know, that bastion of conformity and homogeneity. What about the city, where experiences tend to be more diverse? Enter City Living, a new paid add-on for the game that (surprise!) takes place in an urban landscape. You can live in or visit four distinct neighborhoods in San Myshuno, and broaden your horizons by attending street festivals or crooning at the local karaoke bar. At first glance, it's a more varied experience -- both culturally and in terms of gameplay.
'Pokémon Go' welcomes trainers in 15 more countries
Apparently, Pokémon Go's launch in Japan signified a wider release in the region. Niantic's hit app is now officially out in 15 more countries in Asia and Oceania, specifically Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Solomon Islands, Federated States of Micronesia and Palau. A lot of people in those locations began playing way back when the application first launched by downloading its APK. But now that the game is officially available, they can get it straight from the App Store or from Google Play.
'Don't Starve: Shipwrecked' gets a PS4 release date
If you own a PlayStation 4 and have been patiently waiting to play Don't Starve: Shipwrecked, then you're in luck. The nautical-themed expansion will be released on August 2nd on the PSN store, with a 10 percent launch discount to boot. Though that August 2nd date is only a few weeks away, this marks a several month delay for the expansion. Shipwrecked was originally supposed to launch on Sony's console sometime this spring.
