That Motorola W755 we know you've all been anxiously awaiting has now launched on Verizon, giving prospective buyers a decent choice in the lowish midrange with EV-DO, a 1.3 megapixel camera, touch sensitive external music controls, and a microSD slot for the boatloads of music you'll be undoubtedly toting around. This one actually looks like it could end up being a direct replacement for the RAZR V3m (which, amazingly, is still being sold) thanks to a shared form factor and only mildly upgraded specs across the board. Get it now for $69.99 after discounts in your choice of purple or the far more subtle "black slate".[Via Phone Scoop]

  • Motorola's new V750 and W755 for Verizon in all their glory

Two of Motorola's latest Verizon wares continue their relentless march toward launch day (or "L-day" as we like to call it when we're trying to sound extra important and cryptic), the V750 and W755 flips. We don't have a date on the V750 yet -- the slightly sportier-looking of the two in silver with red and mesh black trim -- but we now hear that the W755 is currently tracking for a May 23 debut. No word on pricing there, but with the meager feature set, we imagine it'll be pretty easy on the wallet. In the meantime, though, enjoy some photography. Come on, you know you want to.%Gallery-22705%

  • Motorola's W755 for Verizon is like a breath of fresh (or stale) air

Remember that spellbinding page-turner of a user guide for Motorola's W755 that we brought you a while back? Of course you do -- how could anyone forget? The anticipation of a new model in Moto's W line of low- to midrange handsets is always nearly too much to bear for us, as we're sure it is for you. Anyway, enough with the ribbing and onto business: press shots of the Verizon-bound flip have surfaced, showing that the phone will be available in at least two shades, black and purple. With a 1.3 megapixel camera on board it's not about to set any records or turn any heads, but the external touch-sensitive music controls are a bonus -- and hey, we guess a choice of colors is always nice. Still no word on a release here, so we hope these shots will hold you over in the meanwhiles.

  • LG enV2, Motorola W755 in glorious detail

For any enV owners out there who managed to not splurge on a Voyager, it looks like you could end up being rewarded here something fierce. Verizon's true enV replacement, the VX9100, has now found its way into some glamorous press shots -- and while we're sure that reaction's going to be mixed, we're really digging the super-simple candybar appearance when the QWERTY clamshell is in its upright and locked position. Looks like it'll come in at least two colors to start -- black and maroon -- and we're also hearing that the name "enV2" is being tossed around in Verizon's documentation (surprise, surprise). Careful observers will note that the phone is sporting a USB port (either mini or micro, we're not sure) on the side, a promising sign that we'll finally be able to ditch those custom LG chargers in the not-too-distant future. We also got hold of a portion of the Motorola W755's user guide -- nothing too inspiring, we suppose, but if there's one thing Verizon needs, it's another midrange flip. We kid, we kid.%Gallery-18365%

  • Verizon scoops aplenty: Touch, Samsung U940, and more!

Getting amped for that snow white Touch, are we? Well, good news: it'll be here pretty quickly, with Verizon's latest estimate putting it on shelves in the late February / early March time frame. That'll be followed up pretty quickly by the Samsung U940, a lovely high-end QWERTY phone in the vein of the F700; we'd previously heard Q1 for this one, and Verizon's pushing Q1 to the extreme here by tagging it for a March release. The Motorola W755 has been dubbed the "COOL" -- though we're not sure whether that's a go-to-market term or just a codename -- and it'll be here at some point in the spring. Finally, we've caught wind that Big Red's prepping a Moto V750, dubbed "UTOPIA," which we don't know much about but may be a spiritual successor to the V710. Whatever the heck it is, look for it in late spring.[Thanks, anonymous tipster]

  • Motorola W755 and a pair of Nokias come to light for Verizon

It's no secret that Nokia's looking to make a bigger splash in the US market than it has the past few years -- and we also know that a CDMA and EV-DO-equipped Nokia passed the FCC not long ago -- so it comes as only a mild surprise to see a pair of 'em in the wild flush with Verizon branding. The 2605 and 7205 (pictured) are two flips that seem to turn up the style dial just a tad from typical Nokia fare, and frankly, that's just fine by us. The low-end 2605 lacks EV-DO and features only a VGA cam, while the 7205 kicks it up a notch with EV-DO, a 2 megapixel camera, and an ultra-slim (dare we say V9m-like) body. Verizon faithful might be disheartened to learn that both phones are thoroughly done over with Verizon's typical theme, so we're really not sure how much Nokia DNA is going to be left by the time these things get to market. Also found in the wild is the Verizon-branded Motorola W755, a KRZR-esque piece with a 1.3 megapixel cam and touch-sensitive external controls. No word yet on when we might see this trio on shelves.
