Yesterday was interrupted by all the Mario game news you could ever want in a lifetime. Yes, we knew it was coming, but then it all just landed at once. Remastered Mario games for the Switch, a new Game & Watch device (yes, honestly), a new Mario Kart game involving for-real RC cars and (because it's 2020) a battle royale spin on classic Super Mario. That’s the one I’m most interested in.
Super Mario Bros. 35 is a free-for-all reimagining of the original Super Mario Bros. game, with 35 players battling to be the last one standing. How will you affect each other’s playthrough? Well kinda like multiplayer Tetris, it looks like defeating enemies will send them to another player’s level.
