VFX artists had a go with the feature film Cats. Universal unveiled a full-length trailer today that gave us the first look at what the film's human actors look like as CG-transformed felines. While the Broadway version of Cats relied on elaborate costumes and makeup, the Jellicle Cats in the Tom Hooper film are heavily aided by visual effects wizardry. Earlier footage revealed the film's actors performing in leotards with markers, with the promise of "digital fur" being added later in post-production.

Apple isn't just using the Apollo 11 anniversary to hype up its live action shows. The tech giant has offered an early look at its Apple TV+ Peanuts cartoons with a short trailer for "Snoopy in Space." The clip underscores Snoopy's usual hijinks (much to the chagrin of Charlie Brown), but it gives you an idea of what to expect. The title will have Charlie and crew visit NASA, where Snoopy and Woodstock have been chosen for a mission.

Apple knows the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 is right around the corner, and it's using that as an opportunity to offer a new trailer sharing more about the origins of its alternate history Apple TV+ show For All Mankind. Co-creator Ron Moore, executive producer Maril Davis and advisor Michael Okuda note that they wanted to tap into the "optimistic future" the Apollo program (and the space race at large) promised. It's about tapping into that desire for humanity to "take its place in the universe," and celebrating an era when astronauts held an almost mythic status.

Less than a week before the launch of Apex Legends second season, two leaked trailers detail significant changes to the map. We knew the new season would included Wattson, an engineer character who thrives on defensive play, and the trailers provide a glimpse of Wattson in action. There's also hints of a new hacker-themed character, Crypto. Perhaps most importantly, the clip makes one thing clear, "Kings Canyon will never be the same." Certain areas have stabilized enough to support new growth forests, and there are new structures. Plus, the leak indicates that the Leviathans have indeed invaded the map. Update: Both the cinematic and gameplay trailers are now officially live, showing some of the things players can expect to see starting July 2nd. They look just like the leaks, including that peek at the laptop-wielding hacker character, but we'll have to dive in next week to get a feel for exactly what's different about the arena.

Season three is almost ready for release on July 4th -- along with a game for Xbox One, PS4, Switch, PC and mobile devices -- and after a few brief teasers Netflix has delivered a "final trailer" that gives us some strong hints of how things are going in 1985-era Hawkins, IN. (If you'd like to go into it fresh then I don't recommend reading further or watching it.)

Jessica Jones is one of the more beloved of the Marvel streaming series that have hit Netflix over the last few years. But as Disney starts consolidating its media empire ahead of the launch of its own streaming service, all good things are coming to an end. That includes Jessica Jones -- the final season hits Netflix on June 14th, and today we're getting a look at an appropriately dark trailer that shows Jones hitting peak antihero.

The show sticks to its critical stance on humanity's relationship with technology and features a voice-enabled robot pal gone awry and drama intertwined with meditation, fertility and dating apps. As Black Mirror Executive Producer Annabel Jones told Entertainment Weekly, the three episodes are socially relevant and have the show's signature "sense of mischief and romp."

We knew Will Smith was preparing to fight a younger version of himself in the upcoming Ang Lee sci-fi film Gemini Man. Now, thanks to the trailer released today, we get a glimpse of what that will look like. The two-minute clip shows present-day Smith as Henry Brogan, an elite but aging assassin who's being chased by a younger clone. Visual effects -- similar to those that allowed Samuel L. Jackson to digitally de-age in Captain Marvel -- will make it possible for Smith to play both roles.

This spring, Netflix will turn the harrowing story of the Central Park Five into a four-part mini-series, When They See Us. The show takes a closer look at the infamous 1989 case, in which five black teens were coerced into confessing to a crime they didn't commit -- beating and raping a woman in Central Park. The trailer, released today, wastes no time in revealing how the teens were pressured by police and the racial injustice that led to their convictions.

Are you sick of the usual superhero fare? So is Amazon. It just posted a teaser for The Boys, a Prime Video adaptation of Gareth Ennis' comic book about wayward superheroes. The show casts Karl Urban as a CIA enforcer who "spanks" a group of corrupt heroes who've become a threat to the public. It's practically the polar opposite of Marvel and DC movies, and it's true to the extremely violent and sexual nature of Ennis' story -- you really don't want your kids to see this one.
