After giving us a brief Stranger Things 3 teaser yesterday, Netflix is treating us to the show's full-blown trailer. The clip crams plenty of action into its almost three-minute-long duration, with more nods to Spielberg (possessed toys for the Poltergeist fans), the dawn of '80s consumerism (malls and ice cream parlors), and enough spandex to please Olivia Newton-John.

Today, we got our first glimpse of the Lucy In The Sky trailer. Starring Natalie Portman and Jon Hamm, this is the first feature film directed by Noah Hawley, who's behind Fargo and Legion. Lucy In The Sky is loosely based on the headline-grabbing story of astronaut Lisa Marie Nowak. After returning from space, Nowak had a breakdown in which she drove from Houston to Orlando, where she attempted to kidnap a woman involved in a love affair with another astronaut.

After the critical and commercial flop of the original Doom movie in 2005, many fans of the early-90s' first-person shooter game agreed the Doom universe was probably best left as that: a game. But if Hollywood is good for anything, it's bleeding a once-popular franchise dry, and with the game series' recent revival, someone somewhere decided we needed a movie reboot. Now the trailer for Doom: Annihilation has dropped, and it's a bit... meh.

When Netflix said that David Fincher and Tim Miller's Love, Death and Robots was an animated series for mature audiences, it wasn't kidding around. The streaming giant has posted the trailer for the 18-story anthology, and you definitely won't be watching this with younger viewers. The title is not only apt, but can sometimes describe one scene -- there are multiple displays of robot sexuality, for starters.

It's not completely impossible that robots could turn against us, so it's no surprise killer robot movies have been popular for decades. The fear is real. We could be about to add another flick to the canon, as the new trailer for the Child's Play reboot suggests. Plot details haven't been confirmed yet, so it's not totally certain this Chucky is a robot, but there's enough to back up rumors it's a defective doll "whose programming code was hacked so that he has no limitations to learning and also violence."

If you've already had enough of all the laptops, TVs and Amazon-enabled devices at CES 2019, autonomous vehicle supply company Valeo has unveiled the XtraVue Trailer. It takes images from cameras behind both your vehicle and trailer, and joins them in a virtual view. That appears on a small display in front of the driver, making it look like your fifth wheel has disappeared, David Copperfield-style.

It's a bummer that Alita: Battle Angel was delayed from its planned holiday season launch, but there's good news for fans eager to see more of the film: a new trailer has arrived. Unlike the preview that dropped in July which focused more on Alita finding herself, this one shows a lot more action and sword-swinging. We see Alita fight in a more advanced body, sliding around on a concrete luge track and slicing up bad guys.

'Detective Pikachu' movie trailer offers a look at 'lifelike' Pokémon

After years of build-up, Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for the Detective Pikachu movie... and it's promising, if also slightly disconcerting. The movie follows the basic thread of the game, with young Tim meeting a Pikachu he can actually understand as they embark on a quest to find Tim's dad. To say the live-action movie has a different feel than the 3DS/2DS title would be an understatement, though. The creators have gone for a "realistic" look for Pokémon, and you're probably going to find it either very appropriate or decidedly weird.

Add CBS All Access to the ranks of streaming services delivering appropriately eerie shows for Halloween. It used a New York Comic-Con panel to premiere the trailer for Tell Me A Story, an original series mashing up three fairy tales ("Three Little Pigs," "Little Red Riding Hood" and "Hansel and Gretel") in modern New York City. As you might imagine, these new narratives aren't nearly as child-friendly as the originals -- the three 'pigs' are bank robbers whose partnership falls apart, while Hansel gets into trouble with shady characters that endanger both him and his sister.

Netflix already rebooted one iconic '80s cartoon in Voltron, now it's trying its hand at another with the upcoming release of She-Ra and The Princesses of Power. (That's He-Man's twin sister for those too young to remember Masters of the Universe or her own spinoff.) Announced in December, all we've seen of the show thus far is a teaser. But a new trailer should help you decide if you like the princess's new clothes.
