Paramount's original trailer for the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog movie was... really something, wasn't it? The under-stylized body, the odd soundtrack choice, the teeth. Such was the Sonic fandom's collective horror that director Jeff Fowler swiftly announced the movie would be put on pause until the studio got the design right. Now, they think they've nailed it.

As with Netflix's Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, you'll be able to decide how the film ends by making decisions along the way. In a callback to classic full-motion video (FMV) games of yesteryear, most of the scenes are filmed from a first-person perspective and feature the YouTube personality adopting the persona of a cat burglar.

The end is almost here -- The Rise of Skywalker will close out the third Star Wars trilogy when it premieres on December 20th (with early screening starting the night before). If you'd like to see a bit more of Episode IX instead of going in completely unspoiled, then watch the new trailer below that just aired during Monday Night Football, but if you've already decided in favor of seeing the movie, then tickets are on sale now. The remaining members of the gang are back, and of course we have more voiceover from you-know-who, and it looks like things are coming down to Rey and Kylo Ren one way or another. Not everyone was a fan of the way the story unfolded in The Last Jedi, but we'll see how JJ Abrams wraps things up in... two months. Is it really that far away?

HBO released the trailer for the 6th and final season of Silicon Valley, and it feels like a real-life recap of the past year or so. Richard Hendricks, CEO of Pied Piper, testifies in front of lawmakers, mirroring Mark Zuckerberg's trainwreck appearances in Washington DC. And what would a parody of recent start-up culture be without a subplot focused on an ill-conceived festival?

Netflix has finally offered a peek at Between Two Ferns: The Movie just days before its September 20th premiere, and there's little doubt that Zack Galifianakis and crew are upping the ante for their magnum opus. The trailer starts with a Matthew McConaughey interview that goes... badly, and escalates from there. Zack is forced to go on the road and conduct interviews to mend his reputation, and the result is a string of absurd celebrity chats that makes even the most star-studded Netflix original seem low-rent by comparison.

Disney has revealed the first trailer for its long-awaited Star Wars original series, The Mandalorian. At the D23 Expo, creator Jon Favreau took the stage to reveal footage of the upcoming show, which will debut exclusively on Disney+ November 12th, the day the streaming service is set to launch. In the trailer you can see The Mandalorian himself, a lone gunfighter, wandering around the outer reaches of the galaxy. Favreau says there's absolutely no authority from the New Republic wherever The Mandalorian goes, and this trailer makes it clear just how far he'll go to handle anyone who does him wrong. Heck, you can see him cutting someone in half with blast doors.

If there was any doubt that Netflix was hunting for awards with Martin Scorsese's The Irishman, it just got erased. The streaming service has released a teaser (really, a first trailer) for the mob epic, and it's clear the movie is a callback to Scorsese classics like Goodfellas and Casino in more ways than one. There's the premise, for a start -- it shows the evolution of the Mafia over decades through the perspective of the hitman who claimed to have killed Jimmy Hoffa. However, it's the acting talent that's on clearest display here.

Hideo Kojima's upcoming "cinematic adventure" game for PlayStation 4 is still quite a mystery, but this Death Stranding trailer that debuted at Comic-Con last week reveals more about it. Leaks of the video appeared online recently, but now you can watch it at home in full quality, as the character "Heartman" -- based on filmmaker Nicolas Winding Refn -- explains his connection to the world. As you may guess by his name, his heart stops every 21 minutes, allowing him to spend three minutes in "the world of the dead" before he's shocked back to life... for another 21 minutes. Death Stranding will be released November 8th, with a long list of featured stars including Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux, Troy Baker and Guillermo del Toro.
