Kris Naudus08.05.2020Samsung's UWB tech will let you use a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra as a digital key
As rumored, the flagship Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is Samsung’s first phone with newfangled ultra wideband (UWB) technology first seen on Apple’s iPhone 11. Samsung calls it Nearby Share, and it lets you point your Galaxy Note 20 Ultra at another Note 20 Ultra or future Samsung UWB device. It’ll then list all of those other devices or people at the top of a sharing panel.
Steve Dent08.05.2020Samsung's Galaxy Watch 3 supports ECG, but only in South Korea for now
Most notable is the electrocardiogram (ECG) feature, something Apple added to the Watch series 4 in 2018. ECG isn’t available at launch, but Samsung says it’ll be available soon on both the Watch 3 as well as the Watch Active 2. Samsung is also including blood pressure monitoring in the Watch 3, something not available on the Apple Watch.

A new Galaxy Note wouldn't be complete without some new note-taking features. Today, Samsung unveiled a refreshed Notes app that will sync with Microsoft's infinitely more popular OneNote platform. Samsung's Reminders app, meanwhile, will sync with Outlook, Microsoft To-Do (its replacement for Wunderlist) and its Slack competitor Teams.

Daniel Cooper08.05.2020Samsung's Galaxy Watch 3 adds Apple Watch-like features
Samsung hasn’t unveiled a new Galaxy Watch in years, choosing instead to release the Galaxy Watch Active and Watch Active 2 since it debuted the original Galaxy Watch in 2018. Naming standards aside, the Galaxy Watch 3 will be available in 41mm and 45mm options from August 6th from $400 and $430 respectively.
Cherlynn Low08.05.2020Samsung's Galaxy Buds Live offer 'open' ANC and hands-free access to Bixby
Samsung’s latest true wireless earbuds, the Galaxy Buds Live, have leaked several times over the last few weeks. Today Samsung is doing just that, alongside the Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Watch 3. When the Galaxy Buds Live first broke cover, the jokes about their bean-like design were a dime a dozen.
Billy Steele08.05.2020Samsung's Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ are the first 5G tablets in the US
Among the five products that Samsung unveiled today at its Unpacked event are the new Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+. The company is one of very few Android tablet makers left, and the S7 and S7+ are the latest in its premium slate lineup. In fact, Samsung itself said the Tab S7 and S7+ “combine the power of a PC, the flexibility of a tablet and the connectivity of a smartphone.”
Cherlynn Low08.05.2020What you need to know about the new Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra
Samsung officially revealed the Galaxy Note 20 ($999) and Note 20 Ultra ($1,299) today, alongside a slew of other new devices at its online-only Unpacked event. The big question now is whether these two Notes can carve out niches for themselves among Samsung's already-huge pack of premium devices. And, honestly, I’m not so sure about that.
Chris Velazco08.05.2020Watch Samsung's Unpacked event with us live from 9:40AM ET
Samsung hasn’t been shy about the fact that it has a ton of devices to show us at its upcoming Unpacked event, and that day is finally here. You can get excited with senior mobile editor Chris Velazco and myself right here as we head over to YouTube for a real-time reaction stream with a post-show to share our thoughts (and insider info) after. Based on the sneaky silhouette that Samsung has shared, we can tell there will be at least a foldable, a Note phone, a watch and what looks like wireless earbuds.
Cherlynn Low08.05.2020Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold2 leaks one last time before tomorrow's Unpacked
New high-resolution images of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold2 have leaked (again), this time in rose gold, showing even more clearly how much more attractive and refined the design is than the last model. They come courtesy of smartphone leak-meister Evan Blass, who recently tweeted images and colors of the Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+, as well.
Steve Dent08.04.2020Samsung's Galaxy Buds Live make an early appearance in iOS app
Samsung seems to be pretty bad at keeping its own secrets. The company appears to have uploaded new screenshots to the Galaxy Buds iOS app page in Apple's store, and the images completely give away the name and some features of the unannounced Galaxy Buds Live. The pictures in the listing show a step by step process of connecting the device to your phone via Bluetooth Low Energy, and the first two screenshots in the process only show the existing Galaxy Buds+.
