Phew, it makes us tired and suspiciously weak to the desire to gamble away our life savings at the video slots just thinking about it! If you see anything we missed or just want to tell us how great a job we did, hit us up in the comments. Or send flowers, that works too.

Longest non "after the jump" article ever.
Nice roundup !
@Slaarg
For those at the conference, it would be nice if you put booth numbers on some of your posts so we could see what the fuss was all about (the CES directories were kinda helpful, but not really). Thanks!
Great coverage, guys. Keep up the good work!
Nice compilation Paul, hope you guys do the podcast thing at MWC too. Any possibility of that, or is it too far afield? (Actually Barcelona's about as close to NY as Vegas...)
@DestrictoEnse
In the Engadget Mobile podcast, Chris Ziegler mentioned that he will be attending and podcasting from there, so check out the Engadget Mobile podcast during MWC.
Finally!
thanks for this breakdown guys
cant wait for next year :3
@(Unverified)
Me too. Hopefully next year E-READERS won't be the hot new thing
Ughh.... so sick of these things
I'm so depressed the tech-orgy is over!
Sigh...it was good while it lasted.
what is your favorite new gadget guys? Biggest surprise? Best advancement?
Mine is: HP's Convertible Tablet
@uck
yes, yes, YES.
You forgot to link to the ELSE post under mobile
http://www.engadget.com/2010/01/10/first-else-hands-on-still-alive-and-kicking/
@taylorh
you guys also forgot to mention my future laptop the Asus ROP G73jh gaming laptop
http://www.engadget.com/2010/01/05/asus-rog-g73jh-launches-with-core-i7-radeon-hd-5870-bragging-r/
I want that lenovo tablet.
I reeeeeally wish I could go to CES :(
There was no major phone anouncement like in past years. I guess the MWC has taken full control of those anouncements.
@MaxDiablito
Scroll up to Mobile; there's a list of phones announced, such as the Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus, Dell Mini 3, and Inbrics M1.
Makes me miss the insanity of the old E3
E-Readers, the funny part was that most of the asian booths hawking e-readers probably never read an e-book all their lives. One guy was showing me an e-book like it was invented yesterday and the best thing since slice bread.
Commented from somebody who has been reading e-books since the palm came out...
@alf4ads
I don't understand why you're criticizing the booth employees for trying to sell their product. Sounds like they were just doing their job.
Was it just the asian booths trying to sell their products to you? LOL Just cause their asian doesn't mean they don't know how to read. Posting dumb sh*t like that makes you feel good doesn't it?
@s2upid
Agreed it was a stupid comment of mine! :)
What i forgot to mention was this specific reader (wont mention company) was just horrible and even the printing on the packaging wasn't spelled right. I mean how could they sell e-readers when they cant even spell?
Oh Engadget! Budmojiggler is my guilty pleasure font too!
Thanks for ruining my sleep tonight..will be going thru this post all over.
@satish
It's better to have one night of sleep ruined than a whole week. I went to bed at 2-3 AM every night of CES because I was keeping up with all the news.
Not that I'm complaining! I love reading about this sort of thing, and I easily lose track of time that way. Also, I understand that Engadget has to make a few posts in the middle of the night because some companies decide that 2 AM is the right time to send out a press release.
I wanna say great job to all the guys and gals at engadget!!! Keep up the good work!!
Thanks for all your hard work, guys.
I'd say that this CES was more evolutionary than revolutionary, but that's fine - can't have revolution all the time. Besides, it's nice to see such technologies start to mature so quickly. You can't invent the mass-produced car every year, but you can certainly make it way better... I think that's what we'll keep seeing for quite some time now - and I have little problem with that.
Well organised! I was kinda waiting for this.
Good job guys. I think I pretty much went through all 600+ posts this week.
It's nice to see how people can be so passionate about gadgets.
Keep up the good work!
*Throws flowers to engadget* haha
Great job, you guys! You made me feel like I was actually at CES.
I hope your MWC coverage will be as amazing :)
I wish there was more coverage of hi-fi audio which seems to have been totally left out! Remember guys, these are electronic gadgets too. I guess Engadget didn't want to go to the Venetian Tower were all the exhibitors were.
From the gadgets that have actually been covered my favourites are:
Lenovo U1 & Boxee Box.
Great job on the round up! ;)
A little disappointed in the following of PMP's, unless there wasnt any to report on. I was kind of hoping for an announcement from Creative/ Zii labs on the Egg.. when is that thing finally going to hatch?
