Intel's Rocket Lake S CPUs are up to 19 percent faster than last year
Well, Intel is now claiming the new Rocket Lake S chips are up to 19 percent faster than their predecessors. While we’re still waiting for more details on Rocket Lake S hardware, Intel gave us a few more tidbits at CES. Rocket Lake S chips will support PCIe 4.0, and they’ll be backwards compatible with Intel’s existing 400 series chipsets, as well as the upcoming 500 series motherboards.
Intel Evo Chromebooks will feature Thunderbolt

First, the company revealed that Chromebooks are coming with Intel Evo branding, its new name for refined Project Athena machines. Samsung TVs will have solar-charging remote controls in 2021
In addition to an array of new televisions, Samsung has also announced a more eco-friendly remote control at CES 2021. The Solar Cell Remote Control can be powered by both indoor and outdoor light, or just regular USB if the former two are insufficient. According to Samsung, the remote itself is also pretty eco-friendly, as 24 percent of its 31 grams of plastic is made from “recycled polyethylene terephtalate.”
Reachy the robot can now be controlled via VR
Last year at CES French startup Pollen Robotics debuted Reachy, an open-source humanoid robot (the top half of one at least) capable of performing a wide variety of tasks — from traditional R&D to product demonstrations and food service. This year, Reachy is back and more capable than ever before. Rather than program in Reachy's movements, users can now control the robot directly simply by donning a VR headset.
